Throughout the funeral industry, there are several awards that highlight the high-quality, sympathetic and caring nature of funeral directors. The prestigious Sedgemoor Business Excellence Award is one such event. Taking place on Thursday 26th March 2021 at the Canalside, Bridgwater, we are delighted to announce that Saraha and Lel of Wallace Stuart Bridgwater Funeral Directors have made the shortlist.

The Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce is set to launch this year’s awards. Competition is high and it looks like another record-breaking year for many entries. However, we are confident of our success and delighted to be stacked up against so many worthy components.

Customer Service Excellence Award

The Customer Service Excellence Award is awarded to a business that demonstrates an exceptionally high standard of customer service. The judges are looking for companies that:

  • Effectively communicate with their customers.
  • Listen to their customer feedback.
  • Implement new ways of working, when necessary.
  • Invest in customer service training for their staff.

Our focus has always been on our customer’s needs. It is the backbone of our company and one of the reasons why we set out to become the leading funeral director in Somerset. Our goal is to always take on board our customer’s comments and opinions before using those to grow and develop.

“As an all female led business in an ever-changing industry, we are passionately paving the way forward for other woman in the funeral industry’. Sarah Stuart

There is a buzz of excitement around the announcement of the event’s key speaker – Lord David Triesman. A politician, merchant banker, and former trade union, he has a keen eye that is sure to identify a worthy winner of this award.

Here at Wallace Stuart, we are proud to be nominated for this prestigious award and look forward to meeting many like-minded businesses.
