We are also happy to use coffins that have been provided by the family themselves and we have companies that will allow families to buy coffins direct, cutting out any extra fees and charges – we really will help you in any way we can.

We were the first funeral director in Somerset to carry out a coffin-less cremation in 2010. Since then, we have helped many families who wish for their loved one not to be placed into a coffin, to carry out their wishes.
We can use a simple board made from MDF which the deceased rest upon, usually wrapped in their favourite blanket or a calico shroud. The family can then decorate with flowers and photographs. Or our local willow company can make a cremation board from willow.
