How to Personalise a Funeral

If you are looking for a traditional funeral with a hearse and full black dress, we are here to put together the perfect funeral for your loved one.

We work alongside all our local crematoriums and churches.

We can help you choose the perfect hearse, flowers and help design a printed order of service. We work with wonderful Ministers and Celebrants that will put together the perfect funeral ceremony with your own music choices, readings and poems. Our florists can provide any choice of floral displays, wreaths and bouquets – or even something a little different if you wish.

No two families are the same and we will guide you through any ideas you may have to ensure the day is perfect for you and your family. There are many extra options you can choose from from printed order of services to live webcast streamed from the ceremony. We will not charge you for any items you do NOT desire and we will always raise an estimate of costs after our first meeting with you. In some cases where a funeral is a larger event it is difficult to price each extra item for example: sound system in a church, marquee hire etc but we will always try and confirm these prices for you.

Traditional Cremation

The cost of a traditional cremation is

£3,765.00 Fully Inclusive

Cremation based in Taunton Deane Crematorium fee

£3,995.00 Fully Inclusive

Cremation based on Sedgemoor Cremation fee

This includes:

  • Meeting with you to discuss the funeral arrangements
  • 24 hour professional support and advice
  • Help on registration, documentation and certification
  • Chapel of rest
  • Collection and care of the deceased
  • Care of deceased prior to funeral
  • Foil Oak Veneered coffin (or choose another coffin)
  • Traditional black hearse (matching limousine available at additional cost)
  • Minister, Celebrant or Humanist to conduct the service
  • Four Bearers in smart black suits
  • Funeral Director on day of funeral
  • Simple cremation urn (or scatter tube)
  • Cremation fee
  • Names of attendees taken

If you wish to add a matching limousine please add £285

Traditional Burial

Traditional burial in Somerset and surrounding area is:

£1,999.00

This price does not include the church service fees (ie: verger, organist and bells) or burial cost fees (grave purchase and preparations). Please ask us for an estimate of fees

It includes:

  • Meeting with you to discuss the funeral arrangements
  • Help on registration, documentation and certification
  • Collection of the deceased
  • Care of deceased prior to funeral
  • Simple coffin up to 6ft2 x 20 (or choose another coffin)
  • Traditional black hearse
  • 4 Bearers in smart black suits
  • Funeral Director on day of funeral
