SAIF assessment and regulation inspection

We had our first ever SAIF assessment and regulation inspection and proud to say that Wallace Stuart passed with flying colours

So why after 13 years did I want to be assessed?

Well, because this little one next to me is the next generation of funeral director coming up through the industry and I need to know that everything I teach her is correct. This little pickle is my daughter, Caitlin.

I needed to know for my peace of mind, that we are doing right by our families, past, future and present.

The horrendous stories of those in Hull and the overwhelming sadness of Lel leaving made me question how to move forward, both for Wallace Stuart and for myself.

So now we have a rather lovely sticker to go on the door saying we are doing a rather good job. I hate stickers on doors but this one can go wherever it wants!

This little pickle above saved me – it doesn’t seem quite so dark in our office now and I am really rather proud.

Who knew the answer was right beside me all along?
